With Boruto getting his own animated spin-off soon, it is only appropriate that fans get to witness his parents' special ceremony in the "Naruto Shippuden" series. This week, the show will air back-to-back episodes to commemorate the wedding of Naruto and Hinata.

To make the union even more special, Kakashi plans to get gifts for the couple through a special secret mission involving everyone as revealed in the trailer for Episode 494. He does this by instructing everyone to find the perfect gift for Naruto and Hinata instead of sending them off for their originally scheduled missions. As simple as the task may seem, everyone in Konoha is hysterical, trying to come up with the best wedding gift ideas.

Meanwhile, Episode 493 saw the end of Shikamaru's story arc in success. Amy McNulty of Anime News Network reviewed the episode and notes that while it is acknowledged that Shikamaru has one of the brightest minds in "Naruto Shippuden," at no point did he struggle in Gengo for more than a few seconds. This made the story arc quite predictable causing Gengo to become one the most forgettable antagonists in the series.

What made the arc memorable is how it documented the moment when Shikamaru finally asked Temari out after years of mutual attraction. Sai and Ino also fall in love in this arc, but their story is less significant as the two have had virtually no interaction before this arc.

Episodes 494 and 495 of "Naruto Shippuden" is titled "Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding." The back-to-back episodes were written by Shou Hinata and illustrated by Masahi Kishimoto and are scheduled to air on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Meanwhile, fans can also experience Naruto and Hinata's wedding in real life. Namco's J-World theme park in Tokyo will honor the occasion with a limited time event called "Naruto Shippuden - A Good Day for a Wedding" which will run from Feb. 25 to Apr. 2.
