Rowan Blanchard got a gig on ABC's "The Goldbergs" after the cancellation of "Girl Meets World." The teen star signed up for a guest role in season 4 as the editor of William Penn Academy's students' sci-fi/fantasy magazine named Aliza.

TV Line reported that she is scheduled to appear in early spring or late winter of 2017. The comedy show airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC.

She also appeared together with her siblings in the Mark Blanchard-helmed "A World Away" scheduled to be released this year. In 2018, she has a movie Ava DuVernay's "A Wrinkle in Time."

Fans of the canceled "Girl Meets World" are still hoping that the show will be picked up by another network. However, until this time, no updates have been released.

Her fans will not miss her at least since she has a TV appearance though quite brief. She is also writing a book which she started even before the news of "Girl Meets World" came out. The New York Times wrote an article about her work, her personal life, and her advocacies.

It was revealed in the article that she will be writing for Penguin Young Readers where entries in her diary will be included. The actress has her hands full of things as always. If she is not acting or writing, she is active in women's rights works. After President Donald Trump was installed in office, there was a Women's March held at Washington, DC with almost half a million attendees. She was one of the speakers in the said gathering as per Teen Vogue.

Rowan Blanchard is a deep-thinking teenager. When girls her age are doing girly things and thinking about boys, she is out participating in social issues. She represents the women especially that she has the power to talk and teenagers will listen. That is how Blanchard projected herself in the industry - a woman of substance.
