Amidst the "leaked emails" controversy, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) supports its ambassador, football star player David Beckham.

In a statement published on its official page, UNICEF has acknowledged the issue that Beckham, with whom they spearheaded the 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund, is currently facing. The organization noted that they have not seen the leaked emails, to which they cannot comment upon.

"David Beckham has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2005, and as well as generously giving his time, energy and support to help raise awareness and funds for UNICEF's work for children, David has given significant funds personally," as published on UNICEF's website.

UNICEF emphasized the projects 7 Fund has successfully implemented in benefit of children. It added, "For example, in June 2016 David visited Swaziland to raise awareness of the devastating drought affecting Eastern and Southern Africa, helping UNICEF reach people around the world with important messages about the need for urgent action." Moreover, the organization enumerated 7 Fund's accomplishments which took place in various countries such as Burkina Faso, Swaziland, Papua New Guinea and Cambodia.

Beckham's spokesman issued a statement regarding UNICEF ambassador's current predicament, explaining that the "story" was taken out of context and  gave a "deliberately inaccurate picture." The spokesman emphasized on Newsbeat, "David and Unicef are rightly proud of what they have and will continue to achieve together and are happy to let the facts speak for themselves."

Meanwhile, Katherine Jenkins, whom Beckham allegedly lambasted in his emails, has issued a "fact sheet" through her representatives. It contains the singer's list of accomplishments before she was given the honor of becoming an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

Her camp emphasized that "We are not issuing a statement - just providing a fact sheet as to why Katherine Jenkins received an OBE in the 2014 New Year's Honours List for services to music and charity in response to Beckham."

As of this writing, Beckham and his reps are yet to release a statement in reference to Jenkins' "fact sheet."
