FX Network is adding another great actor to its cast for "Fargo" Season 3 that already includes Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Carrie Coon. Actor David Thewlis, who played Remus Lupin in the "Harry Potter" movies, joins the cast of the series, which will return on mid-April.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly last December, Thewlis will be a regular cast in season 3 of the show. He will be playing V.M. Vargas, who is "a mysterious loner and a true capitalist."

The report adds that Thewlis' character plays an important role in the series. He will be the one to deliver the bad news to Emmit Stussy (McGregor) about becoming partners with his employers. These employers have business interests that are outside the law.

Another actor to be added in season 3 of "Fargo" is Michael Stuhlbarg, who has a role in the TV series "Boardwalk Empire" and a supporting role in the movie "Dr. Strange," according to a report from the Den of Geek. He will be playing the character Sy Feltz, who is the right-hand man of Stussy. Feltz is also Stussy's consigliere.

The report also adds that FX Network President John Landgraf said during the TCA 2016 press tour that one character might be returning for season 3. He didn't provide any names as to who the character might be.

"As far as I know there is one [character] returning," Landgraf said. "That doesn't mean [series creator Noah Hawley] might not change his mind and there might not be more."

The production of season 3 of "Fargo" is already underway and fans will be happy to know that the series is scheduled to premiere around mid-April of 2017.
