New details of season two of "Stranger Things" were revealed. Later this year, the Netflix science-fiction drama is poised to make its return.

According to entertainment website, Highsnobiety, new plot details regarding the much-anticipated second season of the well-regarded Netflix original series, have emerged. Most of the cast have kept their lips sealed regarding any information about the second season of the show however a few have let a little bit of information leak out.

Noah Schnapp plays Byers. He gave a clue recently that it was possible that his character could become a demogorgon.

Music news website NME reported that the role of Chief of Police Jim Hopper in "Stranger Things" is played by David Harbour. In a new interview, he disclosed some interesting information about the upcoming second season.

Season two takes place two years later, Harbour revealed. He said that there are some things that happened in the last year such as Will coming back since the show was a year later in the story.

He also bared more details about the consequences of the return of Will Byers. The majority of the town still has no clue on what has transpired.

Some people in the town know what occurred and some others do not now what transpired. There will be a lot of repercussions from this on "Stranger Things", he said.

Harbour divulged that a new love triangle will be formed with the addition of Sean Astin's character. A new boyfriend will enter the life of Joyce Byers, who is played by Winona Ryder. Much to the discomfort of the Chief of Police, Sean Astin will be Winona's new boyfriend.

Harbour also disclosed that although Barb, who is played by Shannon Purser, remains missing, there will be justice for her character. He added that at the beginning of the season, the issue Nancy Wheeler has is very much present. Nancy, who is played by Natalia Dyer on "Stranger Things", has questions and feelings that no one was ever concerned about her friend Barb.
