In an impressive showing, a "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" professional players eliminated a whole enemy team on his own. The CS:GO pro won an epic face-off without any teammates in a shootout against a team with all four players still in the game.

The ELEAGUE Major is the largest professional tournament of the year for "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive". The group stages of the 2017 tournament has commenced with many lopsided victories.

According to gaming website Kotaku, the tournament is the biggest since last fall and it offers a $1,000,000 USD prize pool. Teams such as Astralis to teams like Fnatic lost in blowout fashion to their opponents.

Gaming website PC Gamer reported that players are putting maximum effort into the competition before the start of the playoffs on January 27. This is possibly due to the million dollars at stake.

An example of this is a player like Team Liquid's Josh "jdm64" Marzano. He took on by himself, after losing team captain Spencer "Hiko" Martin, the entire opposing squad, Team EnVyUs, which still had its group of four players intact. In one incredible round of sharp shooting, he came out unscathed.

Marzano managed to avenge the elimination of his captain, Martin, after witnessing his teammates fall one by one. He then started taking out the remainder of the French team.

The decision by Team EnVyUs to stagger their attacks did not help them much and instead made things easier for Marzano. This, however, does not diminish his accomplishment. The odds never favored Marzano when facing four against his one.

Team EnVyus should have won the game much earlier. It was only through the efforts of jdm64 and his impressive skill with his AWP sniper rifle and remaining flash bangs that the match entered into triple-overtime. Eventually, Team EnVyUs finally gained the advantage and went on to victory, 25-21 in the opening round of the "CS:GO" tournament.
