Last week in "The Royals", the two younger royals were both left with broken hearts when the people they love decided to let them go. Princess Eleanor got dumped by Jasper, while Liam cannot get Kathryn to choose him over his older brother Robert.

In this week's episode, the two brothers decide to duke it out in the boxing ring at the People's Gala. Liam, of course, has an ulterior motive as he wants to make Robert pay for stealing almost everything from him when he returned from the island. Determined to prove himself, Liam tells Robert that he will give the people a good fight.

E! News reports that Queen Helena is also putting the pressure on Robert to begin selecting his future queen. Despite the list of candidates for Robert, all he wants is to be with Kathryn. By pulling some strings, Kathryn was able to win a wine tour with Robert, and the press even took their picture together. He put together a surprise dinner and stated that soon their relationship will be made public.

The royal ladies are also seeing some kind of progress in their relationship. Despite having her heart broken last week, Princess Eleanor received some comfort from Prince Sebastian Idrisi while Helena's new suitor, Jack Parker, made Spencer very jealous.

King Cyrus continues his fight for the throne by blackmailing a parliament member Charles Wescott, as reported by EW. It seems the pictures of Wescott dabbling in peculiar behavior in the bedroom is enough to get him to influence other members to vote for Cyrus.

Meanwhile, in the battle royale, Liam emerged victorious over Robert, only to find out that Robert lost on purpose to raise more money for charity. Challenging him to a rematch, and a real fight this time, Liam gets punched in the face and left bloodied and bruised as Robert leaves him with his arm around Kathryn.
