"Final Fantasy XV" is one of the best looking game released before 2016 ended, but as fans see it, the game still lacked something despite being well-received. A number of players and would-be owners are now skeptical in getting the game at its current state or simply waiting for another year.

As posted at GameRevolution, Square-Enix is far from being done with rolling out all sorts of update for "Final Fantasy XV." In fact, just in the span of six weeks after being initially released, there are some major DLCs already scheduled, including separate stories for Gladio, Prompto and Ignis.

The initial release of the game was received with highly varied reactions from fans. A lot were very satisfied with the game's overall outcome, but possibly, twice the number of this were fans and players who felt something lacked, especially on later chapters.

The reception was almost too similar with "Final Fantasy XIV," though after three years of carefully improving the game, the 2010 MMORPG was given an entirely new life in 2013, making it one of the best "Final Fantasy" games in the series.

"Final Fantasy XV" is no different in this matter as Square-Enix promised to keep providing consistent updates in patching out as much bugs, loopholes and problems, the game had. Hajime Tabata even shared the company's plans with Famitsu, regarding the new features, time-limited events and even new party members.

With all the updates slated for release, fans begin to wonder if getting the game in its current state was the right idea. Make no mistake though as "Final Fantasy XV" is a great game on its own and it doesn't even take that much research to see how well it fares based on Metacritic, but it is highly debatable to call a game complete with updates this big.
