Brand new updates have been added to "Naruto Online". This comes after the game was named recently as one of Facebook's Best Web Games of 2016.

According to a press release published on gaming website Gamasutra, updated content for "Naruto Online", the turn-based MMORPG for Windows PC, was announced by Oasis Games Ltd, a leading independent publisher. A host of additions will be included in "Naruto Online" to start the new year strong. This follows on its recent award for Facebook's Best Web Game of 2016.

New features will be implemented with the 2.0 update. This will include additions to the Home Interface, changes to the Arena, new Main Character Talents, and many others.

A new Season mode has been added in the version 2.0 update. The new Season mode rewards players at the start of each new season based on the highest rank achieved in the previous season.

Players will be awarded that Rank's reward after a new Rank has been achieved. Without worrying about losing Rank Points, in the Arena's Training Battle mode, players will also be able to test lineups.

A new ninja testing function will become available after level 55 has been reached. This allows players to try out in battle, select ninjas that they have picked.

The "Naruto Online" Event Page contains the detailed list of the events and features that the new update includes. Facebook has honored the most popular or impressive titles to use its various platforms for developers in publishing its game of the year list for 2016.

"Gardenscapes - New Acres" by Playrix was named Facebook's Game of the Year. "Naruto Online" by Oasis Games was one of eight titles named as Facebook's Best Web Games of 2016.

The announcement on Facebook's developer blog said that Oasis leveraged the reach of Facebook to publish popular IP game "Naruto Online" as a very important platform for its global strategy. Fans of the original anime series can relive the epic saga of Naruto, play with their favorite characters, and explore familiar places in a great MMORPG.
