For the first two seasons of Netflix's critically acclaimed superhero series "Daredevil", Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) has remained a bachelor and fans have long been wondering whether or not he and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) will ever start dating one another.

The blind defense lawyer has already confessed to Karen that he is, in fact, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, so it is only logical to assume that the next step would be to date. However, fans might not want to get too excited over this thought as it might not be happening soon.

During the final moments of Season 2, Matt confessed his love to Elektra (Elodie Yung). To make things even more awkward, his college sweetheart came to Hell's Kitchen right around the same time when Matt and Karen were finally starting to go out with one another. Her sudden reappearance in Matt's life meant our hero had to lie to both Karen and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) - his best friend - so he could continue protecting the city at night with her.

Fans have long speculated that Matt's insistence to work solo as well as his secrets have caused his relationship with the people that he loves to become strained. Foggy pretty much figured out that his best friend was a masked vigilante protecting the city during the night early on in the season, while Karen was completely left in the dark about her boss's alter ego. All of this secrecy eventually caused a rift to form in their relationship and they would eventually all go their separate ways afterwards.

"There's always going to be this distance because she's not being fully honest with him, and he's not being fully honest with her", Woll said during an interview with The Chicago Tribune. However, Matt's revelation that he is the Devil of Hell's Kitchen means there is one less secret being kept between them.

This doesn't mean Karen will be running back into her boss's arms because fans still have no clue how she will react to the confession. It is also worth noting that Karen is also hiding some secrets of her own with regards to her past.

Wilson Fisk aka "The Kingpin" (Vincent D'Onofrio) will also be returning in Season 3. In an interview with Collider, D'Onofrio has expressed his strong desire to work with Marvel, especially in his portrayal as "Kingpin" and has pretty much confirmed that he will be returning to the series. However, it is unknown when and in what capacity the character will return.
