Travelers who expect an exotic and adventurous travel in Africa -- specifically having a "safari" image in mind -- would find both places for adventures and for relaxation exist. From amazing waterfalls, enthralling national parks teeming with wildlife and relaxing beaches, Uganda would leave a pampering African experience for all types of travelers

Dutchess Hotel in Fort Portal. In Fort Portal are the relaxing Amabere Caves and the Lake Nkuruba with all its resorts. But travelers who want a truly relaxing vacation should stop by the Dutchess Hotel in the same area. The boutique hotel, a restaurant that serves local culinary dishes and excellent staff attending to customers is all the relaxing rage for those who have traveled to Fort Portal.

Beaches of Ssese Islands. Uganda has its own share of white-sand beaches where bonfires are allowed. In the middle of Lake Victoria are beach hotel resorts run by locals. Travelers have a choice to relax in backpacker-oriented boutique apartments and hotels all facing the beachside or even more upscale choices. According to Lonely Planet, Ssese Island beaches were not made for swimming but the beaches are "magical."

Jinja's waters. After a tiring struggle against hardcore rapids and other fast water runs, Jinja's waters were also meant to relax. At the bottom of the Victoria Nile are small lodges that introduce a relaxed feel. Amazing staff in these accommodations are consistent as they attend to every guest's needs.

Rwenzori National Park. According to New Vision Uganda that cites a Rough Guides publishing on the world's best tourism destinations, Uganda is named the fourth best tourism destination globally because of its natural wonders such as Mount Rwenzori. Visit Rwenzori National Park and enjoy a quiet, relaxing camping view in Africa's tallest mountain range.

Entebbe. An hour's ride away from the Ugandan capital of Kampala, Entebbe has green and clean guesthouses residing next to Lake Victoria and Wavimenya Bay. Business trips that need a quick beach setting to relax need only to ride to Entebbe.
