After the Christmas event, "Pokémon GO" happened to have a second event, which turned out to be even better. The New Year event grants players with great items, gifts and discounts and here's how to technically get the best out of them to get closer to a shining 100 percent Pokédex entry.

Based from a recent post from Chronicle Live, Niantic made an even bigger follow-up with the Christmas Event after launching the New Year event before 2017 have officially set. A lot of players were excited with the extended part of the event in order to get more out of the in-app purchases and some time-restrained mechanics changes.

To quickly outline the offers, players will get access to three time-limited Gift Boxes. The first box is the Bronze Box and this contains 100 Pokéballs and 8 Lure Modules. The Silver Box contains 8 Incense, 8 Lucky Eggs and 8 Lure Modules. Finally, the Gold Box includes 50 Great Balls, 25 Incense, 25 Lucky Eggs and 16 Lure Modules. These boxes are priced 460, 980 and 2480 Poké Coins respectively.

Some would deem this as way too expensive, but in fact, these bundled items already provide serious discounts as opposed to buying them on regular days. Fortunately, there's still time to catch up at least with the biggest offer as the first part of the New Year Event will last until Jan. 3 according to Pokémon Go Live.

The first method was done through the controlled use of Android emulators like Nox. This would let players keep playing "Pokémon GO" even without having to go out and in the comfort of their homes.

However, this isn't to say that the use of an emulator is harm-free. Abuse of the software can be grounds for a perma ban, but using it wisely and moderately won't hurt. It comes as an option for farming Pokécoins real fast as it has some features that could automate some tasks specifically with the game.

The other method and apparently, the better and fail-proof one is by spending real-world cash. Doing the math isn't exactly required, but taking a peak at the standard price list for "Pokémon GO" explains a lot about the huge savings waiting to be taken advantage of.
