Fans are highly anticipating the start of "The Flash" season 3 and it is scheduled to be back on air this coming January 24. One old villain will make its way in the series while there's another new mean guy in town to shoot the main hero in his tracks literally.

According to a report from folks at Cartermatt, a fresh face is about to appear in "The Flash" season 3 and this time, our hero's next nemesis will be none other than Plunder. The newest villain is also known under the name of Jared Morillo and will be played by star Stephen Huszar.

The new villain's abilities, as described in the report, is something that resides between the abilities of Deathstroke and Deadshot. Based from the image posted here, the eyepatch and the gun hints the new adversaries specialty.

Nonetheless, Plunder isn't getting the usual hype compared to other villains in the series and this hints fans that aside from his appearance, Plunder's existence in the series would only serve as a minor bridge to any plot gap in the third season.

Besides the sniper, "The Flash" will also have a face to face with Gorilla Grodd via Comic Book. The primate adversary is expected to be making its return somewhere in 2017 as confirmed by its voice actor, David Sobolov through his Twitter account.

The exact date for Gorilla Grodd's return, however, is still under wraps, though fans can expect more leaks to surface in a few days. This includes Comic Book and a number of other insider news sources.

"The Flash" left off where Barry Allen is tasked to stopping "Speed God" Savitar from killing off Iris. Still, there wasn't a lot to go on with after this and things went quiet after the last episode. Fans will soon see more of Iris' fate, the return of Grodd and Plunder's mysterious role in the on-going arc.
