The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers rematch roared the online crowd in upheaval last Sunday, December 25 as it was the most-streamed NBA Christmas game ever recorded in the history. The game was confirmed to record the highest overnight rating at 5.9 percent for the past 12 years, according to the recent press release.

The Golden State Warriors lost their Christmas game showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers with scores rolling between, 108-109 in a rematch of the last years' NBA Finals. The game played on Sunday happened after the two teams' first meeting since the game 7. Surprisingly, it was over 11 million viewers all over the world streamed the said game, SB Nation reported. The game got an average view of 10.1 million on that day.

Apparently, it was the fifth of the highest viewed regular season game on ABC that was ever recorded in the NBA history. The game generally broke the streaming records having 44.3 million minutes streamed online.

Furthermore, if you follow the Warriors closely, it is no doubt that, they were NBA record streak holders of having no consecutive losses. Thus, to say that the team will respond just right after losing the Christmas showdown is just an understatement. The team played about 118 games since their last two game slides last April 2015 with a pair of defeats between San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans.

On the other hand, last Sunday, the Cavaliers dropped a fade way jumper through Kyrie Irving over Klay Thompson of Warriors with only 3.4 minutes left. Just like what they did last June on NBA finals, the Cavs came back beating the opponent in a close-score fight, 109-108, CBSS Sports reported.

The Warriors had their last chance to beat Cleveland through Kevin Durant but failed to do so when the player lost his balance while coming off the ring. Meanwhile, NBA fans have got to wait for the next thrilling season this coming January 17!
