They don't call it sin city for nothing--a new poll taken by AshleyMadison.com has shown that Las Vegas is a top spot for adulturers. The website, AshleyMadison.com is a controversial meet-up website for people wanting to cheat on their spouses.

From the survey the website found out that over half of its members have reportedly cheated in a Las Vegas hotel. The poll shows how concentrated Las Vegas is for infidelity.

Noel Biderman, the found and CEO of AshleyMadison.com said in a public statement that, "The Las Vegas tourism industry depends on adultery in order to fill all those hotel rooms. Many Las Vegas businesses make more than half of their profits off affair clientele -- not just rooms, but lavish room service orders tend to accompany most steamy affairs -- so they're more than happy to turn the other cheek when guests check in under an alias with someone who isn't their spouse."

AshleyMadison.com's slogan is fittingly, "Life is short. Have an affair." The website is geared towards people who want to cheat on their partners discreetly.

Biderman said to the LA Times about his website, "Some people say it promotes promiscuity. But if you don't do it, you get behavior that's way more harmful to society. Infidelity has been around a lot longer than Ashley Madison."

Recently, AshleyMadison.com also did a survey on Los Angeles and the top places for people to stay when they are having an affair in the city. Holiday Inn on Colorado Avenue topped the list but many of the hotels on the list include LA's high end hotels such as the Regent Beverly Wilshire and the Beverly Hills Hotel.
