Iceland, is known as the magical land of fire and ice, well not literally “magical” but this place give the impression of having the most wonderful features in its place. The Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon, the Golden Circle, are some renowned places in Iceland.

According to Mirror, this fairylike land of fire and ice is jam-packed of amazements. With inexpensive and a hundred percent renewable power, it’s the world’s greenest country, has no equipped armies and has optimistically spring up back from economic disintegration last 2008. This is absolutely a place to spite and appreciate in equivalent degree.

The northern Iceland, an approximately 35-minute flight from the capital upon the stunning, dilapidated inland is a place of phenomenon, with swaying Northern Lights, fascinatingly stunning lava fields, countless volcanoes, snow-capped highlands and fjords. Not only that, you can also enjoy their free wi-fi.

Because of its undeniable wonders, this place became a usual setting or location that is being selected by film makers. There were lots of movies and even TV series that were shot in Iceland. Most specifically, the Game of thrones.

According to the Northern Echo, the Lake Myvatn was actually a location for "Game of Thrones" and the part where first American spacemen went to formulate for the moon landings where it is close in a park formed by one of the several gigantic volcanic outbursts, throwing up huge lava formations of towering, gnarly otherworldliness.

This Lake is quite special. It counts about 37 square kilometers of ice-covered beauty with over fifty landmasses and hollow-like outcrops formed when heated lava poured into the water. Much of the action North of the Wall in Game of Thrones was shot around the lake and you can visualize Wildlings arraigning around the snow-white creepiness.

Also, the up-to-the-minute and calm Sel-Hotel Myvatn contrary to the lake and where the cast list and staffs of Game of Thrones stay throughout shooting. The Thingvellir, which is also one of the shooting location for Game of Thrones season four.
