One of the biggest "Skyrim" mods is going to be even larger. The "Skyrim" mod Enderal is getting a brand new full-fledged expansion of its own.

The creator of the Enderal mod revealed the DLC. It was announced that the "Forgotten Stories" DLC is due in 2017. The expansion will include content that did not make it into the main mod.

Enderal is considered to be one of the best if not the best total conversion mods of "Skyrim". The mod is adding a new DLC expansion pack with a standalone storyline set in its own world.

Enderal was first released in German in July and then in English in August. According to gaming website PC Gamer, creating a free mod with such an enormous world was a huge accomplishment, especially because the creators, SureAI, is a hobbyist studio which made the mod for no money. Enderal was a mod with a huge and detailed world. It had more than 30 hours of gameplay which could easily go to a hundred hours.

It seems that the size of the Enderal world and the amount of gameplay in the mod is not enough. SureAI is going to add an expansion DLC for the mod which will extend gameplay by 10-20 hours. The DLC will include story content from the main story's narrative that did not make it into the initial release of the mod.

The free DLC, "Forgotten Stories" is the mod's first DLC. According to the announcement from SureAI's lead writer Nicolas Lietzau, the mod will be released next year.

Gaming website Eurogamer reported that "Forgotten Stories" is being created by Lietzau who will be assisted by a small part of SureAI, the group of modders that released Enderal. The SureAI team is well known in the "Elder Scrolls" community.

According to The Escapist Magazine, the group's first project was a mod for Oblivion called Nehrim - At Fate's Edge. This was followed with a huge project for "Skyrim" which eventually became Enderal.

"Forgotten Stories," which should be due to arrive in 2017, is being funded out of Lietzau's own pocket. It can't be funded directly because of concerns over possible copyright issues but he is accepting support for his basic expenses through PayPal.
