Lenovo-owned company, Motorola, is already planning on a follow-up to Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Although the company has not released an official statement yet, alleged images and specs have already circulated online. Some reports even say that the new models will be available in March of 2017, prompting some cellphone sellers to already put a discount on Moto G4 and Moto G4 plus.

Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus images and specs leaked online courtesy of Android Soul, and fans are ecstatic. Although the pictures are not clear enough to make out any notable differences from their fourth-gen counterparts, it is safe to say the G5 Plus will keep the fingerprint sensor on the front while the Moto G5 will not. The newly released Moto G4 Plus also already has the fingerprint sensor, something that Moto G4 models do not have.

According to Gadgets 360, both Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus looks identical, but G5 will have a 13-megapixel rear camera while the G5 Plus will get 16-megapixels. Both phones are powered by single Octa-core processors and will be coming with 5.5-inch Full HD displays, similar to Moto G4 and the G4 Plus.

When it comes to storage, Moto G5 will have a single 16GB storage option, while the Moto G5 Plus will have two - 16GB/32GB. Both phones will support 24-hour battery life and support turbo charging. Now with software specs, it said that both Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will be released with an Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

For now, it seems like the specs and features for Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are similar to Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. But then again, until Motorola makes everything official, every specs leaked remain to be just speculations. Nevertheless, all these rumors are enough to make android fanatics excited.
