Alfonso Ribeiro better known as Carlton from the hit 90s tv show, "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" is just one of the latest celebrities who has fallen victim to another internet death hoax.

The actor's death was falsely reported on a Facebook page and spread through the world wide web. The Facebook page called "R.I.P Alfonso Ribeiro" surfaced this week.

Ribeiro however, is alive and well. He tweeted on Saturday, "I guess FB has a page saying I died. I wonder what people are gonna say at my funeral???"

He later added, "It's crazy how many people are calling me about this rumor."

Ribeiro is just one of many celebrities as of late who has been the victim of a Internet death hoax. The latest was Morgan Freeman who was killed via a Facebook page called R.I.P Morgan Freeman which got more than 68,000 likes and led fans to believe he had passed away.

Other celebrities who have been killed by social media also include, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby and Bill Nye the Science Guy who have all been the victim to these hoaxes in the past few weeks.

Carlton, is alive and well, responding to the support he has received about his death hoax, "Thanks for all the love. In every situation you must find the positive."
