Houseparty is the latest app that youngsters are going crazy about. Built by the makers of the now gone video service Meerkat, Houseparty is a video app made for group chats.

According to Forbes, Sima Sistani the co-founder of Houseparty describes the app as a social network that connects people more realistically in the form of video group chats that can hold up to eight participants. Sistani also says that the team has researched a lot to come up with this app with the Generation Z in mind, and how the use social media and what kind of experience they are looking for in using social network apps.

Tech Crunch reports that Ben Rubin, founder of the Houseparty App describes the app as the internet's living room. Its main difference between the other video chat apps is that you do not have request people to join you, all you need to do is get online and you are instantly in the app along with others who also have the app open at that time.

The Houseparty app is truly a fast rising app being able to reach up to third place on the overall app charts for iOS in May. The app seems to keep breathing because according to studies, each new user makes it important to their friends and therefore attracts more and more people to join in.

Moreover, the founders of Houseparty App have been receiving feedbacks that the app has helped their friends and family relationships to improve greatly, which inspired the team to work harder on improving the app more.
