One Directions fans mourn together with Louis Tomlinson as his mother, Johannah Deakin, dies at the age of 42. Tomlinson's mother passed away after a long battle with leukemia on Dec. 7.

In a report by E! News, the mother of the "One Direction" band member died in the early hours of Dec. 7. Deakin was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia that required extensive and continuous treatment sometime this year. As the family mourns her death, they request privacy during the wake so they would be given time and space to grieve in private.

Many of the celebrities sent their condolences including other former 1D members such as Zayn Malik, who reached out via Twitter. Zayn said that he was "proud of the strength" Louis Tomlinson is showing in spite of what's he's been dealing. Liam Payne and Niall Horan also extend their condolences and sympathy to their former mate. However, Harry Styles haven't reached out to Louis through Twitter. Tomlinson also had dedicated an Instagram post on November sharing a photograph of himself with his proud mother before the 2016 Brit Awards.

Louis Tomlinson performed on "X-Factor" as a tribute to his late mother, which would have been a surprise performance. According to Mirror, accepting this long-standing performance was his mother's dying wish.

"Louis had been scheduled for some time to make a surprise performance on The X Factor this weekend," the source said. "This was something Johannah had been looking forward to and it was her wish that this goes ahead - Louis has therefore decided to proceed with this for her."

Tomlinson was very open about his close relationship with his mom. He often brings her as a date during public events and Deakin often shows her support via social media for her son and even the other members of One Direction.

Louis Tomlinson, popularly known as a member of the boy band "One Direction" had their last performance was way back in December 2015, and is said to have an indefinite break to pursue individual careers. Our thoughts are with the family of Louis Tomlinson at this tragic time.
