Ubisoft is ending its 30th anniversary giveaways on an upbeat note. The publisher has confirmed the final free PC game it is offering.

According to gaming websites GameSpot, IGN and PC Gamer, "Assassin's Creed 3" is the last Ubisoft game it is giving away. The game will be free in December. The game finalizes Ubisoft's free game offer in celebration of its 30th anniversary. Assassin's Creed 3 marks the return of the assassin Samuel Adams to the spotlight.

Each month, Ubisoft has been giving away a different game from its catalog in marking its 30th anniversary. The company will complete the celebration by offering the final game in the Desmond storyline.

With "Assassin's Creed III", Ubisoft will cap its 30th anniversary promotion. The company announced on Twitter that the final free game for its 30th anniversary giveaway will indeed be the 2012 American Revolutionary period game from the Assassin's Creed franchise.

"Assassin's Creed III" will be free on Ubisoft's Uplay service starting on December 7. The game is where, as a Native American assassin, players experience the truth behind the most gruesome war in history which is the American Revolution.

Players can own a free copy of "Assassin's Creed III" on PC only if they are Ubisoft Club members. The offer lasts for 30 days. It will be the last game offered as part of their 30th anniversary promotion which started in June. Previous giveways were "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" in June, "Splinter Cell" in July, Rayman Origins in August, The Crew in September, Beyond Good & Evil in October, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in November.

Assassin's Creed is Ubisoft's biggest franchise. The games are set in a fictional history of real-world events and follows the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and the Templars, who desire peace through control.
