"Dragon Ball Super" new episodes are set to air this December following the conclusion of the Zamasu story arc. With that, many fans of the anime are looking forward to what "Dragon Ball Super" episode 70, 71 and 72 has to offer.

Before looking into the upcoming episodes, let us do a brief recap of "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 69 titled "Goku vs Arale! A Ridiculous Battle Will End The Earth?!" which is dubbed by IGN as one of the stranger episodes of "DBS." In the filler episode, it featured a lighter side of the characters since it is full of humor.

Goku, Vegeta and Bulma are at the World Invention Awards wherein Senbei Norimaki of Penguin Village won for his invention, the Reality Machine Mach. 2. But as Senbei was showing his invention, Mr. Mashirito appeared bringing with him Arale and the Gatchans who caused a lot of trouble. With that, Vegeta and Goku came to the rescue.

Meanwhile, to fuel the excitement of the show's fans, titles for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 70, 71 and 72 was leaked online revealing a new story line and a new story arc. Spoilers also indicate the possible death of Son Goku through assassination.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 70, titled "Champa's Challenge! This Time We Face Off in Baseball," is set to air on Dec. 11 which is said to be the last filler episode of the show. Yamcha, who died during the Saiyan saga, will allegedly be part of this episode, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

After the filler episodes, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 71, titled "Goku Dies! Assassination order that must be performed" will air on Dec. 18. This episode is the beginning of the "Omniverse Tournament" story arc and will feature the return of Hit.

It is noted that Hit is the strongest member of Team Universe 6 who will allegedly assassinate Son Goku. Spoilers also indicate that it will be revealed who ordered the strongest assassin to kill Goku. But it is not yet confirmed if it is Hit who will indeed plan to kill Goku. Other reports reveal that Hit came to warn Goku about the manslayer which means that it is possible that it isn't Hit who will kill the protagonist.

On Christmas Day, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 72, titled "Counter Attack? An Invisible Assassination Skill" will be aired. As the title suggests, Goku will not die and is planning his revenge.

Said "Dragon Ball Super" episode 70, 71, 72 title leaks are not yet confirmed but will surely excite fans of the anime. "Dragon Ball Super" airs every Sunday on Fuji TV.
