Netflix is home to some of today's most interesting and unique TV series, movies, and documentaries that involve food and cooking. These do not only tackle how-tos and demos, but also lets us take a peek at some of today's greatest culinary minds. Here are some of the food programs that you must not miss.

"Cooked" is a Netflix in-house food show. It gives a deconstructed version of the usual fine-dining cuisines that home cooks can appreciate. Produced by Michael Pollan and filmed by Alex Gibney, this world-class but not overreaching cooking show, showcases food culture, history and everyday good old cooking for the regular guy or girl. It is a pretty good show that is well-constructed and fascinatingly informative.

"Chef's Table" is the anti-thesis of all cooking shows. This documentary series is directed by David Gelb of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi," taking viewers all over the world and highlights on the each specific chef's cooking ideology. Each episode is equally appetizing and fascinating. You will get to see some of the most exquisite dishes ever made while featuring different chef's table all over the world (thus the title). This show perfectly redefines the actual meaning of food porn with its glorious cinematography and gorgeous food shots.

Though Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" is no longer available on Netflix, his popular voice is ever present in "The Mind of a Chef." This documentary gives viewers a thoughtful peak inside the mind of the word-class chefs like David Chang, Sean Brock, and April Bloomfield. This is a breath of fresh air among the cooking competition shows by presenting food as a work of art. Bourdain narrates over video footages of the chefs as you get a glimpse of what they do in and out of the restaurant
