Good news to those who spend a lot of time traveling and constantly not having internet connectivity. You will now be able to watch your favorite Netflix shows offline. The entertainment company is now giving viewers the option to download movies and TV shows in its iOS and Android app.

Netflix subscribers can now download shows at no extra fee on their mobile devices. Viewers can now stream movies and videos offline regardless of where they are of if they have an internet connection or not. Now, travelers can now enjoy their "Stranger Things" marathon while waiting for their flights or when on board the plane.

"We have talked a lot about this over the years and our belief is that broadband and Wi-Fi become more and more ubiquitous," Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said to CNBC. "Now as we've launched in more territories . . . they all have different levels of broadband speeds and Wi-Fi access. So in those countries they have adapted their behaviors to be much more of a downloading culture," he added.

For the past few months, the popular streaming company has been signaling that they will provide better viewing options for their subscribers. The offline streaming is a great welcome for subscribers who are on-the-go or are in places where limited internet speed is a problem.

Netflix offline viewing is available for its popular movies and tv shows. With Netflix's humongous media library, not everything is available for downloading just yet. According to Vanity Fair, Netflix shows such as 'Orange is the New Black', 'The Crown', 'Stranger Things' and so much more are currently available to download. You will know which shows are available for downloading once a download appears as you browse through the content.

The new downloading feature is available on iOs and Android app. iOs users can download them on their mobile devices here, while Android users can get them here. This new Netflix download feature is available on mobile devices only and not on laptops and computers. Downloaded Netflix shows are available in the "My Downloads" tab in which viewers can access at a later time.
