Apple will be rejoining the Black Friday tradition of retailers by holding a one-day shopping event, selling gadgets both in stores and online.

Apple teased the event in a new webpage where it indicated that the company will be open on Black Friday for selling of items. The company will also give a free two-day delivery if the customer ordered the product before 5pm. Other than these announcements, the company is tight-lipped on what to expect in their Apple Black Friday deals and whether they will give special promos.

The teaser is a shock for many since Apple decided not to join the Black Friday shopping madness in 2015. Angela Ahrendts, senior vice president of Apple, indicated that "being good to your employees will also be good in business." Sales personnel on Black Friday work for long hours to compete with other retailers and to cater for the in surge of customers.

Apple hasn't released a statement yet why the company decided to join the Black Friday 2016 sales event. Last year, Apple products were sold through third-party retailers and also offered on good deals.

Consumers await the coming of Black Friday to buy Apple's Black Friday deals. Many might be skeptical since the past years of Apple's Black Friday events only gave discounts that were hardly a deal at all. The company just offered hundred bucks off from products worth thousands, according to Fortune. Apple also only offered gift cards if customers purchased an Apple product.

With the one-day shopping event of Apple coming around the corner, customers expect to hear more on what deals and sales to look forward to. But for now, the company offers student discounts, education discounts, and promo code offers.
