Whether you are an experienced triathlete or having your first ever triathlon, there are so many places in the United States that host events that will cater to your foals and preferences. Check out this list of triathlon events happening on this side of the world next year. 

1.       Ironman Triathlon Florida

The next Ironman Florida will happen on November 4, 2017 in Panama City Beach, Florida. "Panama City Beach offers a beautiful seashore and perfect temperatures, making this race a magnet for triathletes and their families," said the event's official website. 

This race will also offer 40 qualifying slots for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship to be held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

2.      Great Floridian Triathlon

The 2017 race of Great Floridian will be on the October 21st. They offers a variety of events to choose from according to your desired length of the race.

The Ultimate GFT will cover a total of 144.6 miles, which includes a three lap swim of 2.4 miles, a three laps bike of 112 miles, and a three laps run of 26.2 miles.

3.      Chicago Triathlon

The Transmerica Chicago Triathlon's registration for 2017 is now open as the race will be conducted on August 27th. One of the largest triathlons in the world, Chicago Triathlon will took place in Lake Michigan where any nationality is welcome to join.

4.      New York City Triathlon

The New York City Triathlon's registration for 2017 is now open. The event will transpire at the Hudson River for swimming, the Manhattan's West Side Highway for biking, and New York's Central Park for running. The event will be on July 16, 2017.

5.      Nation's Triathlon

The Nation's Triathlon registration will be opening soon for the September 10, 2017 event. Held in Washington, D.C., this triathlon benefits the leukemia and lymphoma society. Watch out for announcements on their official website.
