For an uncertain and unknown reason, the #MannequinChallenge has taken over all aspects of life in America. The newest viral challenge trend can be put together in the same category as the #RunningManChallenge. There's also the ALS Challenge in 2014 where people across the nation dump cold water bucket on themselves while on camera and the planking trend that took over 2011.

According to The Washington Post, the first #MannequinChallenge was performed by a group of high school students, and there are already numerous versions by other teens. Moreover, certain trend infiltrates its way into the sports world, and the #MannequinChallenge is not an exemption. It has been done inside Kentucky Wildcats' Rupp Arena and recently, NFL teams, namely Navy, Michigan, and Old Dominion, have been hilariously taking on the challenge when asked to do so, Complex said.

In fact, the Cowboys (7-1) are riding after pummeling the Browns (0-9) on the road in Cleveland 35-10 for their seventh straight win, and remain atop the NFC East division. To celebrate, the Cowboys and their team made their own version of the #MannequinChallenge in their plane back to their headquarters in Arlington, Texas. In the video below, you can even spot a guy in the baggage cabin above the seats. Talk about effort!

The Giants defeated the Eagles at home 28-25, and decided to take the challenge with ease in the locker after the game. Even the coaching staff did not move at all either. On the other hand, Steelers and star wideout Antonio Brown, during their practice on Friday, showed off their frozen skills to reporters in their locker room.

If this trend continues through the end of the NFL playoffs, there might be a video of about 72,000 fans at NRG Stadium doing this at Super Bowl 51 before the kickoff. Meanwhile, even basketball teams, hockey quads and cheerleading squads are responding to the challenge in particularly impressive ways.
