The Pittsburgh Steelers took the field against the Baltimore Ravens recently, with Ben Roethlisberger in the lineup. The Steelers announced that Roethlisberger is not only active, but will also start the game against the Ravens. The team considered Roethlisberger a game-time decision all week.

It can be remembered that he suffered an injury during the Steelers' win over the Miami Dolphins three weeks ago, tearing the meniscus in his left knee. He was initially expected to miss four to six weeks after surgery, but has returned earlier than the team originally planned. Apparently, he just missed one game for the Steelers - a Week-7 loss to the New England Patriots. Landry Jones made the start against New England and took the loss.

The Steelers still hold a lead in the AFC North, but the Ravens and Bengals are close behind, as reported by CBS Sports. Unfortunately, Ravens frustrate Roethlisberger in 21-14 win over Steelers on Sunday.

Baltimore (4-4) snapped a four-game losing streak and moved into a tie atop the AFC North with the Steelers (4-4), who have dropped three in a row. Playing the first time since October 16, Roethlisberger looked out of sync until the fourth quarter, when he directed a 75-yard drive that got the Steelers to 21-7 with 8:38 time remaining.

Prior to that, Pittsburgh's offense produced only two first downs and was limited to 69 yards. The Steelers finished with 36 yards rushing, 31 by Le'Veon Bell. On the other hand, Roethlisberger ran for a 4-yard score with 48 seconds left, but Chris Boswell botched the onside kick, and Baltimore ran out the clock.

Baltimore led 10-0 at halftime and 13-0 in the fourth quarter before Javorius Allen blocked a punt and Chris Moore took it 14 yards for a TD and a 21-0 lead with 13:36 to go in the clock. Roethlisberger cut the deficit with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown. NFL adds that the Steelers then forced a three-and-out, and Roethlisberger brought Pittsburgh to the Baltimore 13 before a sack created a fourth-and-18. Roethlisberger threw incomplete, but took the Steelers 65 yards for a score in his final shot at the end zone.
