It is finally over! Supermodel Bella Hadid and R&B singer 'The Weeknd' (Abel Tesfaye) have already called it quits. The two were in a relationship for almost two years. Scheduling conflict is the reason for the breakup according Us Magazine told by their source.

They still have great love and respect for each other and will still be friends, says the Us magazine source who is close to the singer. The former couple were having a hard time to coordinate their schedules with him finishing while promoting his upcoming album. "They really tried to make it work," according to their source.

The ex-lovers, Hadid, 20 and 'The Weeknd', 25 have first met when the 'Starboy' singer requested the model to pose for the artwork of his groundbreaking album 'Beauty Behind the Madness' in 2015. Bella Hadid who is the daughter of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Yolanda Hadid and the younger sister of fellow supermodel Gigi Hadid, starred in his music video 'In The Night.' The singer told Rolling Stone as told by Us Magazine, "My motive was literally to work with her."

Their first public appearance as a couple were at the 2016 Grammy Awards. In May 2015 they were already dating according to Us Magazine. "I'm dating Abel. I don't see him as 'The Weeknd'. I'm proud of 'The Weeknd' and the music he makes, but I really love Abel," she admitted in an interview with Glamour MagazineLast October, the duo were last photographed together in Tokyo. On an Entertainment Tonight article it featured that 'The Weeknd' had posted Instagram photos on his account of him together with his then girlfriend during that trip.
