Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly fired their longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier who have been working for the family since 2012.Pascal's dismissal comes exactly one month after the Paris robbery. Kim Kardashian apparently was held at gunpoint, gagged and locked in the bathroom. The thieves stole 11 million worth of jewels.

Duvier was looking after Kim Kardashian in Paris but was not present during the robbery. He has been out protecting Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall at the time of robbery leaving Kim alone on her own.

Entertainment Weekly sources have told " "Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye. It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances." It was a complete overhauling of security staff for a tighter surveillance and safety.

Pascal has been remembered to have protected Kim from a "Ukrainian prankster" and Kim jokingly said that the Pascal has been always in her side that he appears in every shot of her.The couple has shown support for Pascal who stayed as a bodyguard and was seen looking out for the couple in New York after the robbery. Pascal's dismissal came as a complete shock for him.

Kim has avoided going out in public after the recent robbery and has brought along three off-duty cops to celebrate her sister's birthday Kendall. Kim was spotted without donning any jewelry for that night out. The couple is reassessing the security details for their family especially the kids.The 6ft Pascal has vowed to search the men responsible for the crime. Duvier is a father of two, CEO of his own security firm and has been working for artists like Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera.
