Every week in the NFL, team rankings have changed dramatically, especially for the Minnesota Vikings.

Last week, the Vikings held the number two spot in the rankings even after the brutal loss against Philadelphia Eagles. After a strong start to the current season, known for their dominant defense, NFL fans have assumed that the loss to the Eagles was an anomaly. Also, based on the Minnesota's performance against the Chicago Bears, the Vikings' defensive line may be an even bigger problem than anyone realized.

According to SB Nation, it was a weird week for the NFC South, too, with the Carolina Panthers taking out the Arizona Cardinals, and the New Orleans Saints winning against the Seattle Seahawks. Furthermore, the Atlanta Falcons succeeded to hold on for a close win at home against the Green Bay Packers, resulting to all the three teams to move up a bit in this week's rankings.

Regarding the deep falls this week, the Vikings are the obvious drop after their loss against the Eagles. They also need to correct their offensive line which is proven to their loss and play against the Bears, the number three team in last week's power rankings.

As for the Seahawks, they fall from number three to number seven because of their offense as well. They also managed to only score 13 points against New Orleans, seven points came courtesy of Earl Thomas, who recovered a fumble and ran it back for a touchdown.

As a result of these games, the Bears went up a couple of spots to number 28, and the Saints move all the way to No.17 this week after being at number 22 in Week 8.

For the Cowboys, they might be plummeting in this week's rankings as they had difficulty against the Eagles all night on Sunday Night Football. ESPN adds that the late-game rally by Dak Prescott helped the team seal the win in overtime. In the current power ranking, they stand at number three from number five last week.
