Prince Harry has been secretly dating an American actress, who whisk her way on discreet dinners and private outings across the pond, including a royal rendezvous with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, according to Page Six.

"He's happier than he's been for many years," a source said, referring to the ongoing fling between the prince and 35-year-old "Suits" star Meghan Markle.

"They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other's company but it's fair to say that they love seeing each other and there's a definite chemistry between them," the source added.

As to how they met, Harry was promoting next year's Invictus Games for disabled service men and women last May, while Markle had been in Canada filming her famous USA TV series, in which she portrays sultry paralegal Rachel Zane.

Although sources claim that the budding romance is still in its early stages, Page Six notes how both Prince Harry and Markle are hoping for the best.

"At the moment they are just taking it a step at a time and seeing how things develop," the source said. "[Harry's] in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time."

Markle, who is active in social media, posts images related to the humanitarian work she does as a global ambassador for World Vision Canada. Her role has brought her to places like Rwanda and Afghanistan.

"Harry loves to hear about Meghan's humanitarian work," the source said. "She is sassy, smart and vivacious and he just adores her love of life."

Sources added that Markle has made several stops to London to dine with Harry and meet his friends. She even got to spend time with Prince Harry's brother and sister-in-law at Kensington Palace.

"William and Kate really liked her and she fitted in straight away," the source said. "Meghan is a very confident and intelligent woman and she's not overawed mixing with royalty. That's one of the things Harry admires about her."

Moreover, Markle's representative did not respond to the rumors, and a Kensington Palace spokesperson said they "would not comment on private matters," People reported.
