Earlier, Jeffrey Dean Morgan said that the "Walking Dead" will never be the same again. The actor, who portrays the show's new villain Negan, gave hints about more devastation for fans, saying other popular characters could die in the seventh season.

Before the end of season 6, the finale episode introduced Negan beating an unlucky character with his barbed wired baseball bat named Lucille, whose identity is set to be revealed. Morgan adds that the dynamic of Rick Grimes' group will be changed permanently.

The 50-year-old actor told Entertainment Weekly: "It's a reset on The Walking Dead world. It's f*****g Negan's world now. What you're going to see in the first half of this season is Negan wreaking havoc. And some of your characters that you've grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it's going to end badly for them. It's going to be a whole new beginning for 'The Walking Dead'."

"Really, we've taken the show and just flipped it upside down. It's a different show now. It's going to have a different feeling. You're going to see your favourite characters in a position that they've never been in before, which is super vulnerable and victimized," Morgan continued.

Last July, an announcement was made which suggested how Negan will be inflicting more heartache on the Alexandrian residents, International Business Times reports.

According to Huffington Post, Negan will be killing more than one main character, with Glenn and Abraham as the likely rumored candidates. Morgan did not also say anything about killing two main cast members. It was just revealed that one of the favorite characters would be taken out, but other kills could be minor characters.

May it be Glenn, Abraham, or someone else, Morgan said that it's going to be really brutal.

The Walking Dead season 7 will debut on October 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
