Lapland - There is a prominent winter getaway for British families where you can spend your holiday more magically.

Rovaniemi Airport is a well-known airport. Apart from being the capital of the region, it is also the hometown of Santa Claus.

Kittilä Airport is located in North-West of Lapland and famous for winter sports venue because of the two ski resorts nearby - Levi and Yllas.

Italo Airport is the northernmost airport in Lapland. If you want to get the perfect glance of the place, witness the northern lights and explore the deep Arctic, this airport is ideal for you.

Direct flights to these airports are available from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Nottingham.

During the festive season, the demand in going to Lapland is high, so it is best to book a trip in advance.

Mirror.co.uk added that Santa's Lapland has introduced the reindeer center to know more about Rudolph and friends.
