Many One Direction fans were depressed when dreamy singer Zayn Malik split from the rest of the group in 2015, however, things between Zayn and the rest of the band seem to be going even further south. When Zayn left in 2015, he told OK that, "It's not that I've turned my back on them or anything, it's just that I just can't do that anymore because it's not real to me." The rest of the band, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne, continued working together as a group and went on to release hit singles such as "Perfect", "End of the Day", and "Drag Me Down".

According to the Daily Mail, One Direction member Niall Horan released his solo single "This Town" just recently, and received a flood of congratulations from fans and One Direction bandmates. The spotlight was on Zayn, who did not so much as recognize his old bandmate's huge success. Instead of congratulating his former bandmate, Zayn opted to post a sexy selfie on Instagram, totally ignoring Niall's new single.

After successfully releasing a few new singles on his solo career such as "Pillowtalk" and "iT's YoU", Zayn gained an even wider fanbase by separating from the British boyband. Is Zayn jealous of Niall's newfound success? Another issue could be the recent split between Zayn and supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, with whom he has an on again, off again relationship.

Despite all the negativity emphasized by Zayn's silence on the topic, Niall is nothing but happy and grateful for this milestone in his career. Telling his 27.2 million Twitter followers, "Been workin in the studio, wanted to share this song I just wrote with u guys (sic)...Thank you for always being there." His single is available for fans on all major streaming platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and music video hosting website Vevo.
