Several iOS enthusiasts were expecting that Apple would finally unveil the new iteration of its mini tablet since the release of iPad Mini 4 on September last year.

Various sources said that iPad Mini 5 is expected to launch during the tech giant's September event. iPad Mini fans were excited for the said launch since ealry this year, but the highly anticipated phone was still to no avail. The Cupertin-based company seemingly has focused on promotion of the new iPhone 7 smartphone alongside with the Apple Watch Series 2.

Recent rumors are hitting the internet like hot pancakes indicating that iPad Mini 5 will likely to come in 2017. Rumors suggested that the new successor of iPad Mini 4 will hit the tech market in 2017.

According to Christian Post, Apple, Inc. is expected to launch its newest Mac line including MacBook Pro, iMac, and an all-new 5K stand-alone display in October; hence, iPad Mini 5 is not to be expected in Apple's next month events.

Based on reports made by Christian Post, it is reported that the Apple's iPad Mini 5 size is 9.7 inch with a new name iPad Mini Pro.

The latest installment of the iPad Mini is said to have a 7.9-inch screen size, retina display. It is said to be powered with an enhanced A9 processor with 12-core seventh generation PowerVR graphics.

The iPad Mini 5 will no longer have the 3.5 mm headphone jack, just like with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This makes the iPad Mini 5 both dust and water-resistant.

Apple might introduce the Bluetooth-powered AirPods for this device. It will also have a random access memory of 3 Giga bytes and 32 GB internal base storage, which is expandable by up to 256 GB.

 It will be incorporated with a 5124 mAh battery likely to be used and equipped with 1.2 MP front camera and 8 MP rear camera.

It is expected to have a Series 7000 aluminum casing, which will make it thinner, lighter and more durable. Specifically, the iPad Mini 5 will be 5 mm thick.

The iPad Mini 5 is rumored to have some cool features. It's been widely rumored that it will come with a pressure-sensitive 3D touch technology.
