Because many are expecting another bear hunt coming up all over Florida, state-based activists take on the airwaves to get their advocacies heard. The ad airs out an advocacy to Governor Rick Scott, calling out for him to put a top on the bear hunt.

State-based activist, Lee Day, was the one who distributed the anti-bear hunt ad in the amount of $400, as reported in WFTV 9 ABC. The ad allegedly has already been on air in Central Florida's cable systems.

In the ad, the music in the background stops in the midst of a gunshot sound. Day then, puts on the audio sound of a bear dying. According to Day, he was able to record the sound recording during Florida's 2015 bear hunt event.

Day shares his thought in relation to his anti-bear hunt advocacy in Florida. He said:

"It is still possible to stop this hunt through Rick Scott. The only way to stop the hunt is to have Rick Scott use his executive power to stop the hunt."

FWC shared its reasons for in relation to the 2015 bear hunt activity in Florida in a drafted rule in April 2015. The drafted document states that the bear hunt activity arises out of the increasing number of bears that have materialized increasingly to 400% in the past decade.

Governor Rick Scott's office, however, said in a statement that it was FWC's decision to judge what would be the best in relation to the bear hunting situation. FWC's office stated that the governor puts his trust on FWC to make the best decision for everybody affected by the matter on hand.

Seminole county commissioners have been also the ones in the lead who have been in opposition with the state's bear hunt, as reported in Naples Herald.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) is conducting a number of webinars to find out if it is objective to for the state to have bear hunting still in 2016, according to Babwnews.com.
