The final step in making the couple's divorce to be official will be the court's final judgment.

However, US Weekly reported that the actress and the Coldplay lead singer have maintained an amicable relationship since they separated.

The actress of the romantic comedy film "Shakespeare in Love" stated, "It's like we are still a family, but not a couple. I think we are better as friends than we were married. We are very close and supportive of one another."

According to E!
