After the American actress and stand-up comedian - Jenny Slate, split from her film editor husband Dean Fleischer-Camp, Slate has officially moved on and is now dating the "Captain America" actor, Chris Evans.

US Weekly claimed that Slate and Evans, both 34 years old, will collaborate on the upcoming American drama film "Gifted." And a source stated to the media outlet that back in March, the celebrity couple went on a double date at Hollywood eatery Magnolia with Chris' brother, Scott Evans (who played Oliver Fish on the television series - "One Life to Live").

After the double date news surfaced, according to Yahoo, the pair's fans and celebrity friends hit on their Twitter account to share their excitement over the pairing.

The actress of the TV series "The Mindy Project" - Mindy Kaling, humorously posted on her Twitter account, "So Thor and I have a chance?"

Just last month, Jenny and Chris made an appearance on the "Unqualified" podcast of the American actress and producer - Anna Faris.

Jenny stated at the time, "I didn't know what to expect when I met Chris. I was a little scared for the reason that I kind of felt like, Well, I don't know him. He's a giant man with huge muscles and he's Captain America. How could we ever connect? [But the] first night that we hung out, I was like, Wow, I could hang out with Chris for, like, 90 hours."

Apparently, the Captain America actor appeared to share the same sentiment by saying, "Oddly enough, I've only known Jenny Slate for a few months, which is insane to say for the reason that we're like the same animal."

However, E Online claimed that even though Evans has said it before that he's ready to settle down and start a family. The celebrity couple is taking things slowly.

In fact, Evans stated to Glamour U.K. (via the Telegraph) back in 2014 that, "I want to get married, though I want children-to me that's the ultimate thing.
