Following the death of music icon Prince, fans were able to take a glimpse not just on the singer's legacy in music but even on the properties he acquired during his years in the industry. Aside from his private Paisley Park estate in Minnesota, Prince also owns a private beach and villa on the island of Providenciales.

The breathtaking Caribbean hideaway in the Turks and Caicos features 10 bedrooms and a purple driveway with 10,000 square feet of living space. But what you cannot resist in this home are the views around the area, as it offers a panorama of the Caribbean Sea.

The property also has two beaches, a tennis court, a 200 foot boat dock and a swimming pool area. Aside from the main villa, it has a two-storey guest house and a residence for staff. It also features tropical gardens and walking trails, according to Mail Online.

It also has other amenities that will no doubt make Prince feel relaxed in this luxurious and private home that sits on Providenciales, once dubbed as the world's best island. It boasts white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and some exclusive properties.

The Purple Rain singer bought the property back in 2010 and it is currently listed on the market with an asking price of $12million (£8.3million).

Robert Greenwood from Christie’s International Real Estate broker, said that the gated mansion is one of the most exquisite estates in the Caribbean.

"[Prince] was often seen around town or at the Amanyara, especially during the New Year’s celebration where live music was part of the entertainment and potential guest appearances by the legend himself," Greenwood said according to Pursuitist.

"However, he always remained reserved and private, something that the Turks and Caicos offers those who are continually in the spotlight," he added.

Although this is indeed a stunning property, reports reveal that the star did not move to the house and it is even sparsely furnished. It is also said that the house has a chair and a mirror from the star's Purple Rain movie, Mirror reported.

Prince, who is born Prince Rogers Nelson, died at the age of 57 on April 21 in his Paisley Park estate, where he was found unresponsive in an elevator.
