Summer is the perfect time for vacation. For many of us, it means a trip to a nearby beach. For the famous, though, a vacation is far more luxurious. Here are where the stars go when they need some R&R.
Los Cabos, Mexico
When J-Lo, George Clooney, or Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes need to get away, they head south of the border to Los Cabos, Mexico for sun and sand. Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes have been spotted there, too.
The Caribbean
While Taylor Swift and Bruce Willis enjoy the privacy of Parrot Cay, a private island in Turks and Caicos, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson hang out in Saint Bart's with Mick Jagger. Gwen Sefani and Gavin Rossdale, Orlando Bloom, Mariah Carey, and Derek Jeter enjoy St. Bart's as well.
Saint Tropez
Located in the French Riviera, Saint Tropez is a favorite of Beyonce and Jay Z. The couple vacationed here multiple times, taking advantage of jet skis, yachts, and nightclubs on the beach.
Necker Island
This is a small piece of land in the British Virgin Islands, owned by billionaire Richard Branson. A-listers that have enjoyed the seclusion include the Beckhams, Kate Winslet, and Oprah Winfrey. Even royalty has stayed on the island -- Princess Diana once vacationed here.
Costa Rica
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady vacation here. Bundchen even owns a home here, in the happiest country in the world. It has been called "the Hawaii of Latin America."
