Not only that, his transformation into becoming Saul Goodman will slowly unfold. This could have already been teased when Jimmy told a guy he met at a bar that his name is "Saul... 's all good, man." Actor Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul Goodman, recently spoke about Jimmy's character and the changes that are about to take place in his life. "This character has many more sides to him than the character you see in Breaking Bad," Odenkirk told GQ Magazine. "You see him with his family, you see him on his own, you see him with his love interests. He's a much more dimensional character, and I think much more sympathetic."

"Jimmy McGill has a lot of problems and quite a few of them have to do with gangsters who are staring him down or sometimes waving guns in his face - and those are fun problems to watch - but the things that drive him to becomes Saul Goodman are his personal strivings, his personal dreams of trying to make good in the world," he added.

Interestingly, actor Michael McKean, who plays Chuck McGill, also gushed about the relationship between Chuck and the partners at the firm. "I think you probably learn a little bit more when you see Jimmy interacting with Kim and Howard," he said. "You probably see a little bit more of that. Our relation-- almost everything I did was just with Bob. Which is a lot of fun working with Bob Odenkirk. If you're going to be stuck in a room with anybody for ten, twelve hours, Bob's as good as anybody. He's also one of those people who's funny and knows a lot about humor."

The official synopsis for 'Better Call Saul' season 1 episode 5 reads: "When his efforts to drum up new business are interrupted by alarming news, Jimmy is pressured to make a difficult choice."
