'Walking Dead' is known for its notable character deaths and creator Robert Kirkman has sort of promised that fans can expect another major death before the current season wraps up.

Steven Yeun's Glenn is brutally murdered in the comic books, can viewers expect the same? Well, the show might have hinted about it already since Glenn come face-to-face with a baseball bat, Fashion & Style has learned.

In the comics, Glenn was killed by a character named Negan, the leader of a group called the Saviors. He is bludgeoned to death by Negan using a baseball bat that's specially covered in barbed wire. So is he going to get killed in a similar manner in the series?

Creator Robert Kirkman has somehow hinted that fans can expect a similar thing to happen to Glenn before the show wraps up, reports Movie Pilot.

"Eventually a character named Negan is introduced and he's going to bash in Glenn's brains with a baseball bat called Lucille," Kirkman recently gushed when he appeared on Chris Hardwick's show "Midnight," alongside Lauren Cohan and Josh McDermitt.

To his words, everyone in the audience was stunned knowing that Glenn is actually a fan-favorite.

However, the Kirkman dropped the shocking statement during a round of fake spoilers, so this could be fake all along. Or is it?

While this is yet to be confirmed until the final season airs, viewers will surely be on the lookout for the introduction of Negan in the series. If he does get introduced in the latter part of the season, it will be pretty obvious that it's time for viewers to say goodbye to another character.
