For one, they are a polygamous cult who are out to wreak havoc to the world, believing that what they do is connected to the armageddon. In the midst of this mission, Red will be preoccupied with finding a hidden safe that holds a lot of answers. Previously, the task force rescued an undercover CIA agent that was kidnapped by separatists in Uzbekistan. Red informed his team that they are actually fighting against a notorious blacklister named Ruslan Denisov. The dangers of last week's show will be intensified in tonight's episode. Red and his team will go after a polygamous cult who are causing a lot of trouble in their city. Surprisingly, some of the agents will be taken by cult members and there isn't any confirmation if they are going to make it alive after tonight's show. Show executive producer John Eisendrath gushed about the Harry Lennix's Harold Cooper recently, saying, "He will be tested in ways that he's never been tested before and tempted to do things that are darker than he has ever done before when balanced against his health." Show creator Jon Bokenkamp also revealed that Harold's condition will affect his relationship with Red and his team.

The official synopsis of Blacklist season 2 episode 12 reads: "The team investigates the vanishing of a polygamous cult leader with dangerous shipping containers buried on his property. Meanwhile, Red seeks a hidden safe."

Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison and Mozhan Marno. Guest starring this week are David Strathiirn, John Maloney and Ron Perlman.
