This week, when Mary's mother returns to the palace, everyone and everything will cause a strain in the heart of the queen. For one thing she is not at peace with keeping her feelings for Conde anymore. Moreover, she's not pleased with her mother's discovery that there are those who want her to step down the throne. Marie is back for her daughter amid the funeral for the Duke of Guise. With her words, her daughter will be compelled to make on daring move that could lead to unwanted repercussions in the near future. However, Mary is determined to do so, especially now that she's fully understood her true feelings for Conde. Unbeknownst to Mary, this will make Francis move closer to Lola. Elsewhere, Kenna will get a surprising offer from Antoine, something that will certainly shock show fans.

The official synopsis of Reign season 2 episode 15 reads: "Mary's mother returns to advise Mary that her throne is in jeopardy. Mary makes a shocking proposition to Condé, along with a bold move to reclaim her throne. Francis moves closer to Lola after a setback with Mary, while King Antoine makes Kenna an interesting offer."
