Teens Survive Maine - A pair of Rhode Island teenagers were reported missing overnight. The pair reportedly took off with a snowmobile headed towards his grandfather's house. However, the 15-year old boys never made it after taking a wrong turn at one point.

The surprising thing is that despite the frigid minus 11 temperature, the teens survive Maine. Thanks to Ty Howard-Gotto's quick thinking, he managed to pull his friend Jonah May along to look for shelter. First things first, how did the boys end up getting stuck in Maine woods?

According to Ty, he had missed a turn and had ended up at a road called Devil's Den. His snowmobile then got stuck at a trail, which was not well-maintained. Giving up on the snowmobile, the pair walked quite the distance in the extreme cold. Luckily, the teens survived Maine weather and woods after spotting a go-cart which had fresh gas in it. They had used the gas to start a fire and warm up. The pair slept through the night in the go-cart.

"Because I had my clothes bag with me. I stuffed my T-shirts, whatever, underwear, as insulation and zipped it up," shared Ty in a report by USA Today.

In the morning, the two headed out towards the south end of the lake. There they were spotted by a man in a pickup truck who drove them to Ty's grandfather's place. While it was indeed lucky for the two teens who survived Maine woods and the extreme temperatures, game wardens in the area hope it would serve as a lesson to the boys. Adam Gormley of Maine Warden Service hopes this would be a "inexpensive lesson."

The teens survive Maine woods without injuries and without suffering hypothermia. As for the mother of Ty, Tracy Howard is quite relieved that nothing had happened at the expense of her child's adventure.
