"Gotham" Season 1 Episode 16 - The latest trailer for "Gotham's" episode 16 has been released. According to a few reports, "The Blind Fortune Teller's" storyline could finally introduce The Joker. All this and more after the jump.

1. Throughout "Gotham's" season 1, The Joker has remained a mystery. FOX didn't appear to have plans to introduce the iconic villain. However, a back story regarding The Joker's origins would be revealed.

2. Jerome, played by Cameron Monaghan, will be introduced in "Gotham" season 1 episode 16. A lot of fans had hoped Jerome would play the part of The Joker given his pale complexion and bright red hair. Yet, the executive producer of the show, Bruno Heller, claims Jerome isn't likely to play the renowned villain.
"This is not a red herring," shares Heller in a report by E! Online. "It's the beginning of the story of how the Joker came to be, how the Joker was created, where he came from, who he is. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that Cameron Monaghan is the Joker. He might be."

3. Though Jerome isn't likely to play the part of The Joker, he is greatly connected to him. This of course is what Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, seems to think after investigating a murder which takes place at a circus where Jerome is found.

4. While "Gotham" season 1 episode 16 certainly has got fans on their toes, the upcoming episode entitled "The Red Hood" plays an important part in the history of The Joker. Heller on the other hand again warns fans that the series doesn't follow the comic book plot - so expectations should be cut short this time around.

5. So is Jerome The Joker? Heller claims the answer would be revealed in a few years.
"But, like I say, this is a story that begins about seven or eight years before the actual Joker arrives on the scene in his fully fledged persona," adds Heller to E! Online.
