Several contenders have already made their moves on the trading front, but Jabari Davis of Basketball Insiders there are still few teams poised to make some moves before the trade deadline expires three weeks from now.

According to Davis, the Phoenix Suns could possibly pull off a series of deals in the coming days to free-up more playing time for their previous trade acquisition and convert a very intriguing expiring contract player into an asset before he walks away without getting something in return next summer.

There's no doubt that Gerald Green has been one of the most consistent contributors off the bench for the Suns this season. They are currently fighting for a playoff spot in a very competitive Western Conference, and losing Green is certainly a big blow for the team, especially to its second unit.

However, Davis still believes the Suns front office will explore any option available for them to sell Green high on the trading market, hoping to land multiple second-rounders or perhaps a late first-round pick for the explosive swingman.

"With Green's expiring contract looming, this could be an excellent opportunity for the team to determine whether Goodwin could be a viable replacement in the event that negotiations don't go in favor of the front office's stated desire to re-sign their soon-to-be free agent this summer," according to Davis.

Meanwhile, Davis also mentioned the Sacramento Kings as a potential suitor for Reggie Jackson, who is expected to be moved by the Oklahoma City Thunder by trade deadline.

The Kings have been aggressive in engaging into trade talks this season, but for some reason they haven't hammered a single deal yet. The Thunder, on the other hand, is eager to move Jackson before the crafty point guard hit the free-agency market this summer.

"As Kennedy mentioned, they've got plenty of young assets to package if the right deal presented itself and even though point guard Darren Collison has seemed to be a good fit for them, the team could still be pursuing a young backcourt asset like OKC's Reggie Jackson if the Thunder were to make him available prior to the deadline," according to Davis.

"Hill has been productive, but also remains the team's best trading asset as several contending teams are sorely in need of frontcourt depth as we head into the playoff push."
