Beijing Moscow Train - Travelling to Moscow from Beijing in China will hopefully become easier. A proposed plan involving a high-speed bullet train is already in the works. How big and how fast would the bullet train be?

Travellers in China rejoice! For those who wish to see Moscow, which is only a few miles away from Beijing, may visit the area with the upcoming Beijing Moscow train. The said bullet train, built by China, is a 7,000 km-long high speed railway line. According to the Hindu, the bullet train may cost more than $250 bullion.

The Beijing Moscow train will pass through Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. It is said to cover more than 7,000 km. This is three time longer and larger than the world record for longest high-speed line, which is from the capital of China to the southern city in Guangzhou.

Given the 7,000 km-long high speed railway line, the trip estimated for the Beijing Moscow train would take approximately two days. Despite the 48 hour trip, passengers would no longer need to switch trains. Of course, given the length, money, man power, and materials to be used for the project, the said bullet train linking Moscow to Beijing may take eight to 10 years to build.

The Beijing Moscow train is a top priority for Chinese and Russian governments. In addition, other major manufacturers have also offered their support. These include the German automobile companies such as BMW, Mercedes, and Volkswagen. Such company is hoping to speed up the process of shipping their cars to the expanding consumerist economy of China.

Russia was originally planning to commission a high-speed bullet train from Moscow to Kazan. Now, it obviously looks like China has been involved in the plan. Travellers from Moscow, China, and around the world should certainly look forward to the Beijing Moscow train.
